Your Right to Delete Your Data

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains what data we store and how to request its deletion.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:

  • Account Information: Email address, password hash, authentication data
  • User Profiles: All profiles you've created, including names and settings
  • IPTV Provider Credentials: All server URLs, usernames, and passwords you've added
  • Watch History: All viewing progress and history across all content
  • Favorites: All bookmarked movies, series, and channels
  • Settings: App preferences, EPG sources, and configurations
  • Subscription Data: Purchase history and subscription status

What Data May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for legal or technical reasons:

  • Transaction Records: Purchase records may be retained by Apple/Google for their records
  • Anonymized Analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage statistics
  • Legal Compliance: Data required to comply with legal obligations

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: In-App Deletion

The easiest way to delete your account is through the app:

  1. Open Visioo and go to Settings
  2. Scroll down to Account
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm your decision

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 24 hours.

Option 2: Email Request

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion via email:

  1. Send an email to support@visioo.co
  2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  3. Include the email address associated with your Visioo account
  4. We may ask you to verify your identity

We will process your request within 30 days and send you confirmation when the deletion is complete.

Before You Delete

Please note that account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Before requesting deletion:

  • Cancel any active Premium subscription through your app store
  • Ensure you no longer need access to your watch history or favorites
  • Understand that you cannot recover your account after deletion

Subscription Cancellation

Important: Deleting your Visioo account does not automatically cancel your subscription. You must cancel separately:

  • iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Visioo → Cancel
  • Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Visioo → Cancel

Third-Party Data

Deleting your Visioo account does not affect data held by:

  • Your IPTV service provider
  • Apple or Google (for purchases and subscriptions)
  • Authentication providers (Google or Apple Sign-In)
