Privacy Policy

Introduction

Visioo ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal project developed by Yasser's Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Visioo application ("App") available on iOS, Android, and Web platforms.

Important: Visioo is a media player application only. We do not provide, host, or distribute any media content. All content is provided by your own IPTV service provider.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Password (encrypted and securely hashed)
  • Authentication provider info (if using Google or Apple Sign-In)

Profile Information

For each user profile you create, we store:

  • Profile name
  • Avatar color preference
  • Kids mode setting
  • Content rating preferences

IPTV Provider Credentials

When you add an IPTV provider, we store your credentials (server URL, username, password, or M3U playlist URL) to enable playback. This data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the App:

  • Watch history and progress
  • Favorite content
  • App settings and preferences
  • Search queries (stored locally)

Technical Data

For crash reporting and app improvement, we may collect:

  • Device type and operating system
  • App version
  • Error logs and crash reports (via Sentry)
  • IP address (for crash reporting only)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's functionality
  • Sync your data across devices (Premium feature)
  • Remember your watch progress and preferences
  • Improve the App through crash reports and analytics
  • Provide customer support

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • Cloud data is stored on Supabase servers with row-level security
  • Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
  • Local data uses encrypted storage (MMKV)
  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Database Provider: Authentication and secure data storage
  • Sentry: Crash reporting and error tracking. Collects device info, OS version, and error stack traces to help us fix bugs.
  • PostHog: Product analytics to understand how users interact with the app. We use this to improve features and user experience. You can opt out in Settings.
  • TMDb (The Movie Database): Movie and TV show metadata including posters, descriptions, and ratings. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
  • App Store / Google Play: Subscription management

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

Voice Search

If you use voice search, audio is processed on your device using native speech recognition (Apple SFSpeechRecognizer or Google Speech Services). We only receive the text transcript, not the audio recording.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time (see Data Deletion section).

Children's Privacy

Visioo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at support@visioo.co.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your account and data
  • Export your data
  • Opt out of analytics (by disabling crash reporting in settings)

Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, visit our Data Deletion page or email us at support@visioo.co. We will process your request within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
